The FRABA Community Youth Activity & Sports committee aims to support local youth activities, sports and arts within the Fall River & surrounding areas. We encourage organizations to apply for funding to enhance their programs and contribute positively to the youth in our community. Please follow the steps below to apply for funding, and read carefully to ensure your organization qualifies.

 

*Please note: You must submit this signed application and any supporting documentation no later than 4pm on November 15, 2024 for the following year Fall 2024 - August 2025. No requests will be accepted after this date.

 

Criteria for Funding (must meet ALL criteria)

​

• Must be an activity, sport or art for youth age 18 and under  

• Must be an activity, sport or art organization within the Fall River, Waverley, Wellington, Windsor Junctions areas (individuals, or individual teams within an organization do NOT qualify).

• Must be a non-profit organization, with funding directly going to cover the cost of the local event or equipment. *Preference will be given to events happening within the Fall River & area communities. 

• The local event can be a fundraising event for the organization (ie) tournament, concert, etc…

Submission

 

Submit the completed application form and supporting documents to the FRABA Community Activity and Youth Sports Funding Committee via email to admin@fraba.ca no later than 4pm November 15, 2024.

 

Review

 

The FRABA Community Activity and Youth Sports will review all applications in November. Funds raised from our Champions Gala Fundraising event held in the Spring of 2024 will be allocated between the applicants. Preference will be given to local events happening within the Fall River & surrounding areas.

 

Decision

 

You will be notified of the decision via email on/before December 2, 2024. All decisions made by our VOLUNTEER committee are final. No late applications will be accepted. The committee of volunteers has created this program to give back to our community and to keep this fair for everyone, certain criteria and deadlines MUST be put in place. We aim to be as fair as possible. We ask that you respect that our decisions are final.

 

Important Dates

 

• Application Deadline: November 15, 2024 at 4pm AST

• Notification of Decision: December 2, 2024

• Allocation of funds: Before the end of January 2025 (or mutually agreed upon date)
